If I have a platinum diamond ring would a white gold wedding band stick out?

My wife has a platinum engagement ring, and I have only found a white gold wedding band so far. Would she notice the difference between the two? Or better yet would it be noticeable to others? I know about rhodium plating and all that, But I just want to know if it would look bad in general?

There is brightness difference between platinum and white gold. By time, there might be noticeable difference because platinum is scratch free; white gold is not. You already mentioned about the rhodium plating so I guess you know when it is gone, yellow gold will be visible.
